4g63 non turbo cams?

Does anyone know the cam specs on a 1g eclipse non turbo, and i know people put the intake cam from the turbo in and say they get a gain but does anyone know if someone ever put aftermarket cams in? Like crower or hks. I am thinking about getting the crower stage 2 set and seeing if it works.

Re: 4g63 non turbo cams?

Im using Crane Cams part # 435-0010 w/ all other bolt on's. Gives a very nice power boost. I'm @ 183Whp on a non-turbo 4g63

Where do you find them at, I couldn't find them on the web site. Do you know if there the same as the crower stage 2 set?

The Turbo 1G OEM intake cam is the same as the NT. Same Mitsu part number.

If you don't believe me ask Josh @ Conicelli.

I'm using stage 1, it's highly recomended you have a more high flow intake/exhaust to compensate the bigger cams

You can find them @ http://www.cranecams.com/index.php?s...4c6190c64fb033

Re: 4g63 non turbo cams?

I was under the impression that the NT cams are the same as the 90 cams, and only the exhaust is different. The 91-94 exhaust cam is bigger than the 90 by a very small amount. Hardly worth the effort. People have put 91-94 cams in 2Gs, and I dont recall every hearing that the gain was actually measureable.

Re: 4g63 non turbo cams?

Hi, newbie here.

I got me a pair of VR4 cams and plan to install it on my 4g67.

So there's no significant gains whatsoever?

tell me
