Added 1 gallon to 2001 Sub in washer container and light is back on... I do see some but not gallon amount of the fluid in garage. How hard to trace, fix?

Re: windshield washer container leaking
I had the same problem last year on my 2001,
Pulled the tank thinking it was cracked, but the rear pump housing was cracked. It just pushes in to the tank with a rubber gasket. Replaced it for a few dollars with a generic at local auto parts store. |

Re: windshield washer container leaking
Pull the battery and the battery tray.
You will need to remove the plastic retainers on the inner wheel well liner to ger to some of the bolts that hold the tank. Also, make shure to check the plastic lines coming from the pumps. I had one that was rubbed thru and splice it with some vaccum hose and clamps. About and hour job. Good Luck!!! |
