Why Does My Fuel System Shut Down When Engine Rpm Hits 4,000 . Fuel Filters Have Been Removed And A Pressure Test Of Fuel System While Driving Down The Road Indicates A Abrupt Shut Off Of Fuel At 4000 Rpm, Puzzled As What Is Telling The Fuel Pump To Shut Down.

Just curious, but my explorer has never been to 4k even when the overdrive went out. What are you doing to get there?
