85 Cutlass Brougham - Stalls No start after Long Period
Car doesn't seem to start after battery dies. 2nd time this happened. Is this because computer goes back to open or closed state? And since the car is on the edge of running it is unable to run? Car seems to run on ethyr for a second. Fuel pump hummed. I had used paperclip to get codes under steering and got a few rich/o2 sensor/egr codes but haven't changed a thing. Hope this give direction for others. The car will probably start when weather good (oh, yeah replaced fuel lines) Whats wrong?

3.8 engine. The stalling at red lights had stopped for a long time. I tried cleaning the egr valve and using my science hammer.

is this car a cutlass Ciera front wheel drive, or a cutlass supreme rear wheel drive?

RichTazz...its a front wheel drive
Forgot to mention there has always been a tick (valve?) since I owned car but seemed fine for last 2 years. (12-14 mpg) Problem is getting it started now.

Ciera front wheel drive. These are nice heavy cars though considering its 19 years old and fast. I think these are great fixer uppers or street boast/stock/racers. Rust could have stayed in lines and got to fuel injectors too? maybe?
