'89 four banger pickup vs an escort

Alright last night i was driving around town and I see this escort with a bodykit made of cardboard and screen i dont know if it was a joke but it looked like crap. So of course i want to race so i flick my hi's at him.

We stopped at the next stopsighn no cops so we took off my truck is a little four banger piece so i was expecting to loose but i was keeping up and then i pass him in 3rd at 50mph(top of third to be exact) and then he got mad flipped his highs on and thats how it ended I know not too exciting but it was my first race and i won!

Hello, welcome to the forums. Slow down, periods are your friends. It's great to hear that you won your first race, but flicking yours highs isn't the smartest idea. You should've just matched and revved, much safer.

Keep it safe and remember to use periods.

Yeah but he flicked his brights first to get the escorts attention, then after the race they hit theirs. Sorry I'm not being smart or anything just pointing out that he did hit his first.

Sorry guys, I wrote that post in a bad mood, and his sentence dragged on for awhile. I personally had a problem a couple years back when a guy flashed his highs at my friend from the back to race him, my friend went off the road cuz the light shocked him and he broke a couple bones; I got a concussion.

Not trying to burst your bubble s-15, its great to see another racer here on the forums, but we gotta keep it safe ya know. A lot of people I hang out with know a lot about cars, and they race, but they just aren't smart. I have seen too many accidents not to let you guys know the dangers. I guess I shouldn't baby you or anything, you just gotta be careful. Thats all I'm saying bro.
