96 Blazer starting problems
ok, I've looked all through this forum and haven't found anything regarding this yet. My 96 Blazer, every once in a while, won't turn over. Sometimes it works fine, other times the lights all come on and everything, but when I turn the key, the starter doesn't turn. BUT, here's the odd thing... if I turn the headlights on first, it starts just fine. Starter going bad? Something else? Really I have no idea. Any help would be great.

Re: 96 Blazer starting problems
do you turn the lights on all of the time now or just when it won't start.

Re: 96 Blazer starting problems
i don't know exactly how, but your ignition and your drl circuit are tied together. my best guess would be somewhere in that area.
