Jekyl was hit this morning ...

I am so tired of this crap.

I back out of garage very slowly to make sure my mirrors clear. As I was backing out this morning, I see this guy whip into a parking spot in the row behind my garage.

So I finish backing up ... stop Jekyl (I have to get out to close the garage door). Before I get out I look over and this guy has his back up lights on and rifles his car into reverse while turning out of the spot. His goal was to back up next to the dumpster that is between my garage and the parking spaces.

People in my apartment complex are lazy ... they drive their trash to the dumpster instead of walking it there.
So he waffles the side of Jekyl.

*sigh*

Things happen in 3s.
86' was stolen torched 2 weeks ago. Jekyl was hit this morning.
Hyde is not coming out of the garage for quite a while *sigh*

He originally was very apologetic and understanding ... truly being a nice person.
I got his insurance info and then he changed on me....

Started saying this was "no fault" since we were both baking up.
Then it got ugly.
I pointed out that I was stopped ~ not backing up.
I said if that is the way you want to play it, I am getting a police report. So I got my camera and called the police.

I took a few images. Then he started saying he had to get going .. he was running late. I said, if you want to leave the scene of accident go ahead.

He's like the police are just going to come and say it's no fault.
I said, " I promise you. I absolutely promise you if the police and insurance find this to be 'no fault' ... I will gladly take you to small claims court. It's only going to cost me a $100 and a bit of my time."

Then his wife said "Common Bob ... we don't need this. We have enough going on."



He said what do you want?
I said the only way you are leaving here without a police report is if I can get you admitting guilt on video tape. He said ok

So ... I fetched my video camera and I have him on tape admitting fault
... waiting for the call back from his insurance company.

That sucks man. I hate people like that. Sue that mother if he puts up any crap about it being your fault, or just get the money to get it fixed. Either way, watch out for retarded drivers.

I'm sorry man. G/l in claims court if he wants to take it that far. You know you have our support.

haha...sucks that the car got nailed, but if you have him saying "it's my fault" on tape then you're set. good job on that one, good luck in court

HAHAHA, for him being such a jack @$$ id get my mechanic to say i have like $5,000 in damage. make it like you have to replace your whole rear clip or something. come out with a few extra pennies in the end. i mean after all he is on video admiting that it was his falt for hiting your vehicle. and it wouldnt be "no falt" FHI (for his info) because if you where out of hte car and the car was parked when he hit you it was non moving on your part. there for 100% his falt anyway. sucks that your car got bashed though.

Hate that for you, sounds like a lady that hit me but she didn't get away with it. Doesn't look like it would be to hard to fix the body if you can do it you're self but if you can't find the best three body shops to give you an estimate on the repairs, don't settle for any old shop.

fuck it sucks when ur car gets hit bc its never the same, i parked behind my friend who has a lifted z-71 in my firebird once, and he backed into me putting his hitch thorugh my bumber, they could never match the paint were it looked good enough were i couldnt tell
