Dash Lights

Alright, so my dash lights and ciggarette lighter werent working. I checked out the fuses and the cigg. was out, so i replaced it. I checked all the other ones and they were fine, so now when i turn my car on the "idiot lights" go on... you know ding ding fasten seatbelts, but my dash lights still arent working. What the hell is going on? I would like to know that i am speeding at night.
Thanx,
Jessica

Re: Dash Lights

Did you check the knob or wheel over by the headlight switch that brightens/dims the dash lights. Perhaps you inadvertently turned it all the way down, in which case, the dash lights will illuminate, nor will the radio lighting.

Re: Re: Dash Lights

You'd be amazed how many people, male and female, forget about or don't know about that control.

Re: Re: Re: Dash Lights

If you have yet to solve the problem, you may want to check your headlight switch. On occasion, the rheostat that controls the dash
lites short out. Also check your connections.
