Can You register a skyline as a 240sx

Can or has anyone gotten a wrecked 240sx a Skyline and put all the vin and identification on the skyline so the dot and epa and what ever else there is thinks its a 240sx made to look like a skyline and it would be 100% U.S. legal


1. Get wrecked 240sx
2. Get skyline
3. Put vin and identification tags on skyline
4. Say you fixed the 240sx
5. Get 240sx salvage title
6. They think it is a 240sx because you say it is custom

i don't think you can do that, or if it's legal....but you can drop in a skyline motor in a 240sx....
