looking to buy 318is 325is

i'm looking at a few bmw's, and i'm thinking about buying a '92-'96 318is, or a '92-'96 325is. what would be a reasonable price for the both of these in decent condition? and where could i purchase body kits for bmw's, and where can i buy performance modifications? also, any advice anyone can give me? thanks a lot, i really appreciate it.

I'd say anywere between $5,000 and $7,500.
Performance mods at...
www.dinancars.com
www.activeautowerke.com
http://www.hamann-motorsport.de/
http://www.hartge.de/html/indexuk.html
http://www.ac-schnitzer.de/

just a few of my favorites

get a 325is if you can, the 318 just seems gutless.

I'll second that, you will regret the whimpy little 4 cylinder and there aren't many mods to make it any better. On the other hand the inline 6 has a wide torque band and runs as smooth as silk. You won't be disapointed. Take your time and find a good one and spend $75 to $150 for a pre-purchase inspection from a certified BMW mechanic before you buy it. It will be money well spent, trust me.

Agree.....Unless you can find a really good deal on the 318, I would go with the 325is. Your going to want that extra performance...Can't go wrong with Hamann.
