Re: camaro custom hardtop

I like it. That paint has inspired me. Dark pearl red top fading down the back to pearl white. But I think having the car completely painted would help see the hardtop more clearly.

actually the car is not painted...the top is stuck on with tape. it is from an older model of mine i just desided to cut the top off and see what it would be like.

i test painted the top a long time ago with mica red to see what its like, then put some smoke over top to see what that was like. it fades because i only painted the top..mist from the paint must have gone onto the sides.

lol but it does look a little like its paint like that i guess, the white plastic in the photo does look like it has a pearl for some reason.

Re: camaro custom hardtop

it seems a weird combo but the roof is from a mustang. i dont know the year ..98...i think.

the rims will be modified and painted with alclad II and possibly black paint? not sure yet.

anyways this will be my next projet when my nsx powered integra is done (turning out to be alot more work than i had expected). school is in the way aswell.

With such a low roof, it'd be cool if you could lay back those A pillars a bit. Still registered voted it as Awesome, though.

Re: camaro custom hardtop

You can pick up some clear styrene sheets and cut them to the right specs. Heat it a little and bend it to get that slight windshield arch.
