When Getting Eprom Ecu, What should I be concerned with?
I bought all my mods Finally!!!! But now I just need to buy the 1995 Eprom Ecu. I need to know what to be concerned with when looking for one. Like, My cars a 5 speed GSX (All Wheel Drive), Now would it be ok to get one from a GS-T (front wheel drive) ? Or how about from an automatic gsx? Or automative GS-T? Also should I get on that's socketted already because I ordered DSMLink, or should I have them socket it for me?

Thanks for contributing.
Definitely have DSMlink socket it. It doesnt cost much, and you know it will be done right (Dave Mertz is ridiculous with this stuff). Unless I'm mistaken any 2g EPROM ECU will work. The only difference between FWD and AWD that I know of is the FWD speed limiter (based on tire ratings). That can be removed. The auto tranny cars have a seperate tranny ECU, physically the engine ECUs should be the same. I would really ask Dave or Tom first though to be sure.
