Re: steering wheel

Because of the airbag system used in both vehicles I don't think its a easy exchange but I will look into this further for you. Also welcome the forum my name is John and if you wouldn't mind we would love to have you introduce yourself in the getting to know our community thread. Thanks

Re: steering wheel

Well I couldn't find the answer on the Net so I contacted the local dealership and they told me that the two Air Bag Steering wheels used on both Vehicle is interchangable but that it should be installed by a certified tech like all Airbag equipment also since these vehicle are pretty new it will be hard to find a used steering wheel off a Vibe (especially one that hasn't be set off) but check Ebay and www.car-parts.com and you might get lucky. Good Luck

Re: steering wheel

To tell you the truth its not something I would do but to each their own. Also from what I understood there is some type of certification that a shop must have to install or work on Air bags and ofcourse all dealer's will be certifide
