battery tray
guys how can a fellow clean up a rusty battery tray in a 3rd gen camaro,
mine looks like crap. i have sanded most of it smooth to the metal. but there is still ruff spots in it. my dad said to put baking soda in our sand blaster and us that and it would take it down to the metal. is this true?

im not sure about putting it in a sandblaster but i know it works good to stop the tray from corroding by neutralizing the acid

buy a starter kit from them and clean it up, paint it, and the paint will fill in all the pits and make it look nice.
