Aerostar starts but won't run
Have ya'll ever experienced a Ford van that will start up and run as long as the switch is turned on but when the key is released it stops running? It is a 1989 AEROSTAR.

try changing the ignition switch. i had a 93 honda do that to me as soon as you let go of the key it turned of i changed the ignition switch it never happened again. dont change the key and cylinder the switch has all the wires going to it last time i checked it was on the steering column.
