Do you mean when you look at the headlight or do you mean while you're driving the light looks yellow?

Yeah. HID is the way to go, but expect to pay more like $200 for a real kit on the bay. I got mine for like $192 if I remember right. If you want a purpleish light, look for a 6000k kit. Mine is 6000 and gives off a great color, but still lets me see whats in the road. Those 8000k kits give off really blue light, but have less reflective light. just fyi

HID conversion are not legel in some states, like in cali. In Cali, for example, you cannot put aftermarket HIDs on a car, and the headlight housing has to be from a car that came hat way from the facotry, so you'd need to do a headlight conversion to be technically legel there.

PIAA Super Plasmas or Super Plasma GT-X's bulbs will give you the color you are looking for.

Read this thread.
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=298500

The last page has a pic of a car with those lights. Here is the pic though also

I also have a second pic of those lights in different headlights, but the pic isn't uploaded yet. Anyways, those lights are VERY bright.

Read the thread, I example a lot of stuff in there.

That IS NOT an HID conversion kit...it is a "HID LOOK CONVERSION KIT." Read the fine print, it is Halogen bulbs...FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS OR SOMETHING LIKE IT!!!!!

Directly quoted from the ebay ad...Basically there are two powerful relays (4x12V 40A)with double drive which enable each filament to reach up to 140W. Two specially designed halogen bulbs are provided...

They are Halgon bulbs, like PIAA's are, like Silverstars, etc...

...EXPECT THEY ARE HIGH WATTAGE BULBS, VERY HIGH WATTAGE BULB!!!

THIS IS NOT GOOD. THIS CAN FRY THE WIRING HARNESS.

Now, they CLAIM that this '"kit"..."has air vents to help dissipate heat from the halogen bulbs therefore prolonging the usable life of the bulbs..."

I am VERY skeptical of this actaully working. It is more a gimmick. The sotck wiring harness is point blank NOT DESIGNED ti handle 140 WATTS!!! An OEM H4 bulb is around 55watts low beam and 60 watts high beam. 140 watts will create A LOT of heat. That much of an increase WILL RUIN part of the stock lighting and wiring system. Even if these "cooling vents" do disapate some heat, they CAN NOT disapate enough to cool the heat enough to prevent melting, damage, etc. Worse, yet, these bulbs are rated MUCH HIGHER than the lamp, socket, wiring and harness are rated for. Putting high wattage bulbs like this in can CAUSE AN ELECTRICAL FIRE!!!! (Just like putting higher wattage bulb than the house lamp is rated CAN/WILL CASE AN ELECTIRCAL FIRE).Remember, these bulbs have a wattage rated much too high, it's not worth a fried harness, ruined headlights and a possible car on fire from an electrical fire!!!

Remember, the stock harness and lighting ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR 140 WATT BULBS. IF YOU ARE LUCKY, IT WILLONLY RUIN AND FRY YOUR HARNESS. If you are lucky it will do only that (and figure yourself as being too lucky most of the time).

High wattage bulbs ARE THE WRONG WAY to try and get more light output!!!! They are THE WRONG WAY to try and get that HID look.

If you safely want the LOOK AND OUTPUT OF HIDS, YOU HAVE ONLY 2 OPTIONS!!!

1)Get REAL HIDS, not an "HID LOOK KIT." Beware, HIDS are expensive, if the price is low, lthey are not real HIDS, and are likly high wattage bulbs that will cause damage.

2)If HIDS are illegel and you want to stay legel, OR if you just don't wanna spend the money, get a good set of Halogens like PIAA or Silverstar. PIAA and Silverstars are regular wattage bubls, yet throw out more light....how??? They produce more Lumans, which is the ratign for how much light a bulb will produce. The cheap way to more lumens is higher wattage. This is NOT te god way in the case of cars. Much like a house light bulb, a 60 watt bulb with more lumans WILL be brighter than a 60 watt bulb with less. It will also cost more. The high lumen 60 watt bulb may produce the output of a regular 80 watt bulb. This is the same way PIAA and Silverstar work. The don't increase the wattage (the power draw), and therefor theheat doesn't increase too much. They instead increased the LUMANS, which increaes the LIGHT OUTPUT WITHOUT INCREAES WATTAGE!!!! This is why some PIAA's, like the H4 Super Plasma GT-X's have regular stock wattage (55 watts low beam/60 watt high beam) YET PRODUCE THE LIGHT OUTPUT OF A 125 WATT LOW BEAM AND 135 WATT HIGH BEAM BULB. These lights produce the light output, the LUMAN OUTPUT, of the high wattage bulbs yet have the regular safe OEM wattage. On top of all this, PIAA's have a 1 year warrenty!!!!!!

The PIAA SUPER PLASMA GT-X also has a color temperture of 5000K, they are the closest thing look wise to HIDS you will get without the real thing. They also, as discribed above, SAFELY increase the light output by increaing the lumans, NOT BY INCREASING THE WATTAGE!!

PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, EVERYONE READ THIS STICKY THREAD. IT EXPALINS MORE IN DEPTH WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO BUYING DANGEROUS HIGH WATTAGE BULBS!! PLEASE LEARN AND KNOW WHAT IS WHAT AND HOW THEY WORK BEFORE YOU GO LOOKING FOR LIGHTING PRODUCTS

Catz has a system (if they still make it) called the "Catz Zeta" system which used a relay type system to mimic HIDs and used a pair of specially designed bulbs. This is the ONLY sysmtem like that that I'd recommend as Catz has a lot of research behind their stuff. Plus they include any wiring you'd need so you don't fry anything and also have a warranty on it.

Just get some PIAA bulbs people. They are pricey yes, but it's MUCH more reasonable than HID kits, it's LEGAL and it's just more logical and senseable.

A question: why get HID headlights? As bright and clear as stock Honda headlights are, I don't see (haha) why you would need anything brighter. The light is disturbing to many people's eyes due to the pure-white light, and you have to upgrade your harness for higher-powered bulbs. I don't see the allure, anyway.

ALSO:
Please, if you replace your headlights, get them aligned correctly! I am not a large fan of HID headlights, as the light they emit is very harsh for oncoming traffic. Aligned correctly they are mearly annoying, but aligned incorrectly they are blinding!

PIAA light bulbs ARN'T HIGHER POWERED LIGHTS!!! THEY ARE STILL STOCK WATTAGE!!! They just put out more lumens (the measurable light output) than a stock bulb @ the same wattage. You don't have to upgrade your harness with PIAA's. They arn't a high output or high wattage bulb. They increase the lumens (the measurable light output) without increasing the wattage. This is simlier to 2 different house light bulbs @ a store...both 40 watts. One has 760 lumens, the other 1100 lumans. The one with 1100 lumens will be much brighter, but is still safe to use in that socket, as the wattage and heat is not more, only the output!!! PIAA's work in the same fashion. They give out more light without increasing the wattage. The result is a brighter headlight with more light output, without the heat and dangers of running high wattage bulbs. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO UPGRADE THE HARNES WITH BULBS LIKE PIAA. The dn't pose the risk of high wattage bulbs. They are a safe way to increase light output, much the same as Sylvania Silverstars.

Also, ANY misalgined headlight can be blinding, HID or otherwise. It's always important to keep them aglined correctly.

Read me, Read me!!!!
