power extendable mirror

How do I replace the glass mirror on my truck?? I think it just pops out but I want to make sure before I do anything.... Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm. Good question. Your talking about a side mirror right? From broken ones that I've seen the Mirror is just a lense that's glued in there. So somehow you have to pop that puppy out of there. Then you will be able to see all of the electrics behind it.

I know what everything looks like in there because it was broke before, but when it got broke that time it popped out on its own, and I know there is two little screws that make it move, and they are connected into a little white piece on the back of the mirror itself, then the electronics for heat and turn signal just plug in

there are about 12 different mirror options for those trucks, and without a VIN# you are S.O.L., also, not every mirror option has a raplacement glass available. worst case scenario, go to a glass place and get them to cut one up for you.
