cant make up my mind!

OK...i recently puchased a pair of TFS tw heads that have been milled to 58cc's and have a fresh valve job, and also slight port work (clean up/polish). keep in mind my car is full injected and everyday driven. ive been lookin at trick flows intakes, and i cant make up my mind on either getting the track heat or the r-series. will i make more power w/ the r series, that is if i purchase one of ed curtis' custom ground cams to match either intake? i will appreciate any and all feedback!

Unless you got major power, like 500 plus, a trick flow r will only decrease your performance. A track heat is plenty and works well with the twisted wedge heads.

Re: cant make up my mind!

hey racer20, can you give me a estimate at what i might put out w/ my twisted wedge heads, track heat intake, custom ground cam, 373's, t-5, and all the other minor bold on's....i know estimates are vague but alot of what you have in your sig besides the stroker is close to what i will be running...

Properly tweeced, I'd say 300 rwhp is very achievable. You may want to do some mild exhaust porting to the heads as well. I also learned something over the weekend that the twisted wedge heads love timing. My friend was running 93 octane with 19-20 degrees advance, getting excellent times the other day.
