ZX2 stuff for sale

I have a set of KMC Floss 17" chome rims on Fuzion ZRi tires for sale. I had the on my ZX2 for like 3 monthes. There like brand new, no scatches, dings, or marks. I also have a brand new Kenwood cd player that i had in the car for 2 weeks. Works fine just changed my mind, its model # KDC-X679. It comes with the installation kit and factory to aftermarket plugs. The last thing I have is a Kicker L7 in a custom ported box, made of MDF board. If any one is interested post in here, e-mail at [email protected], or IM me under the same name as in here. Thanks!

Re: ZX2 stuff for sale

Hi,
I just got my zx2 and when I saw that you had installed your cd player and taken it out again i thought I might ask you this question.
I have a cd player but I have not figured out how to take out the existing tape player, all I want is to reconnect the wires to my cd player instead of the tape which isn't hard to do but I cannot figure out where the latch is to take out that whole round part of the dashboard with the tape player on it to get to the wires behind. can you help me??
thanks

Well 1st you need to find them 2 horse shoe looking tools. They should of came with the car. On either side of the tape player should be 2 holes. : radio : <---- Looks like this. Push them in until you hear them click. Now before you try to pull it out you need to reach up and behind the radio and unhook the temp select cable....if its like mine. Its not easy either (broke one clip). Now if you get this off you should be able to carefully pull it out enough to get to your other wires....Oh yea I forgot....unless you plan on spending 50 to 70 bucks on a diff face plate you are going to have to do some mods to your old one. Bestbuy has the part your going to need. Plus your going to need a connector to connect your radio to the car harnass. Its a mazda harnass. After that you should be good to go.....

the kinda look like that, they go in the 4 holes on the oval

you can not mod the pre-2003 face plate they are completely differerent you NEED to buy a new faceplate.
again unless you have an 2003 zx2 it is NOT a mazda connector
