Wheel/Tire/Start help please for the love of god !
OK, let me start with the fact that I own a 90 Eclipse GS DOHC. I have had this for about 3 to 4 weeks, which I did on an impulse trade and am paying for it.
I need a replacement wheel for the rear drive, and 4 new tires. Mitsubishi wants $350 before tax for the wheel and it looks like its going to be atleast $280 for tires just about anywhere. Can anyone point me in a better direction for this.... with the wheels/tires + labor im looking at about 7 to 8 hundred for this and that kinda pisses me off.
Other then that this start problem I am having is agravating as well. It starts fine and has to warm up like a carb which I still don't understand. Then if I put it in Neutral and let it role back the rpms go up for some reason. If I put it in 1st to stat to go I get an Idle surge of about 300 rpms. Not only that but it seems like the damn thing is fludding untill about 2000 rpm. after about 10mins of driving this goes away. WTF? I changed the wires, changed the oil, changed the pulgs, and cleaned the TB. Now it does seem that there is a hole in the flex pipe on the ex. manifold. Could this just be from initial lack of back pressure?
Any help on either of these would be thanked with the most I can provide.
