HELP Price Check Please HELP

My girlfriend found a 1983 280 ZX that she wants to buy. It's going to replace a 1996 Nissan Sentra. I am excited.

I just want her to get a decent price on this car.

It's a Non-Turbo and I assume it is a GL. It has Full Power Options, the Digital Display, And T-Tops that do not leak. It has Suede + Leather (Don't know if that was standard or what..) A/C supposedly works. 104K Miles. 5-Speed. It's in decent condition (Pretty good Interior / Maroon Shiny Paint).This guy is the 2nd owner and it has been in his family. The owner said it has been a daily driver.

He wants $3,300. She talked to him and he said he was willing to negotiate. We plan to drive it if she can find a way to finance it.

Do Ya'll think that is a fair price?

104 k is really low miles for an 83

Yeah decent enough if it turns out to be a good car. But I would try to bring hi down to 3000 but thats just me.

it was a daily driver and it only has 104k miles?!?! the owners must of not daily drove that much. that sounds like a pretty good price for that kind of mileage. but remember, don't jump on anything to fast, make sure it is what you want.

Its going to be her car. Not to mention how much experiance does she have with RWD cars? If she seems like a competent driver then all means hop on one, but if she is frieghtened by damp roads then she should stay away from one. Take it for a test drive, and see if she likes it, and if it checks out, and everything is OK then get it. Its a great find.

Thanks ya'll. This is the girlfriend. I am buying the car tomorrow. Just waitin for the bank to open now. I was wondering though where I could get new head lights, a nice(yet cheap) exhaust(mine is blown) and where would be a good place to find rims(also somewhat cheap)? Thanks again for the replys.

Hey JCCR...can you run a VIN on CarFax for me?

If you like the car, it sounds like a pretty good deal to me...except that I didn't know that the pre-84s had t-tops. You sure it's not a Z31? It look kinda like the car in my sig? If it does, PLEASE hold all your horses...something's up...CUZ MINE'S AN 86!
