knock sensor
comic sans ms dark green Hi Michael here and i am having trouble finding a knock sensor for my 93' t/c exec. The dealer said that it is called the crank sensor now, however, the code scanner says knock sensor so is there a knock sensor in this car? Is this the reason that my check engine light keeps coming on and off?

There is no Knock Sensor in your 1993. They were first offered in 2003.
Your scanner may be giving you a generic code. Look for other sources to scan the CEL light when it comes back on.
