Hello, Can Somebody Tell Me What Is Wrong With My 90 Lumina?? The First Coil Pack Is Dead. I Have Juice To The 2nd And 3rd Coil Packs. I Just Replaced Them all With New Ones. I Am In A Process Of Elimanation. I Have Replace The EGR,Wires,Plugs And Now Coil Packs But I Found Out The 1st Coil Pack Is Dead So I Think That Is My Trouble In Fact I Can Pull The 2 Wires Off And She Runs The Same As Normal. So I Am Running A 4 Clinder With a 6 Clinder Engine She Goes Down The Road But I Have No Snap. About Know About How To Test The Electric Connectors That Goes Into The Coil To See If It Has Juice??

Re: 90 Lumina Coil Pack
I bet the ICM is bad, if you replaced the 1-4 coil pack and it still doesn't fire. Try that next.

Re: 90 Lumina Coil Pack
I agree with Jeff and Cad, you've got a bad ignition control module.

Re: 90 Lumina Coil Pack
It should be what the coil packs plug into. It also is mounted to the engine with two bolts, I THINK. I'm not positive how many there are, but if you take all three packs off you'll see the bolts.

Re: 90 Lumina Coil Pack
I believe the module bracket has 3 bolts on a 90 Lumina, and it's in such a wonderful place (front of the engine block between the engine and radiator) that is so easy to get to.....NOT!!! It is the piece that the coils bolt to, and there are three wiring plugs on it, two on the one end(passenger side of car) and one on the other end (driver's side of car).
