HELP! Whine/whistling with automatic transmission
Hey,
My 1992 legacy wagon awd automatic just starting making a whine/whistle with acceleration. The shifts are also slow. I've heard that this may be due to the automatic fluid pump being starved. Some causes have included the evil paper gasket in the early legacys to a clogged tranny filter. Help!!!! I don't have the money to get a new tranny now!
