motherfu*in update

Ok here is my shit luck so far....

1)some biotch in the rain...Rear ended, getting paid for it but sucks!

2)Today I pulled in my driveway, happened to look back at my car to see some white smoke coming out a little on the passenger side by the windshield....I say "hmm unusual" then i go over and i lift the hood and hear "sizzle sizzle" and i say oooooo shit. Look underneath, she coolant dripping like crazy all over the bottom by the oil pan and around it.. like a damn waterfall. I look under the hood and see that...hey there is coolant spilt on some shit in the back but i can see where its coming out of and its dripping down over everything...

Any suggestions??? before I fucking light this thing on fire

Hey does anyone have any idea on a good way to change the heater hose without spending 6 hours on it?

Re: motherfu*in update

i know how you feel, i have had really really bad luck lately. ticket, clutch replacement, getting my car paintballed, yeah, the only good thing that is going on right now is this chick i am with right now that i think will last a while. but then again, chicks are never good things.

Re: motherfu*in update

I cant think of a easy way to do that one sorry, Either way you cut it, its going to suck.

But on the plus side if you want to replace your heater hoses with silicone ones NOWS the time to do it. Wont have to worry about them for a long long while after that.

Re: motherfu*in update

You can't miss them... they are the thickest hoses leading into the firewall... into the heater core... and believe me... you are gonna spend some time trying to install these. First thing is first though... be sure that is where the punture is at.... find the hoses and feel around with your fingers... when mine went out they had a huge gash in it... secondly: you will most likely have to go to the dealer and have them special order you this item (and I recommend you change both of them) which will take a few days... good luck!

Re: motherfu*in update

Like I said in IM...you and Freak are on a major bad streak. Feel bad for you guys.

Good luck changing those hoses. I'd recommend taking it somewhere...I'll probably never do any more hoses...you all may remember how that one little 5" coolant hose nearly brought me to my knees a month or so ago. Good luck with it, man...and replace them with something you know you won't have to change again for a loooooooooooooooooooong time.

Re: motherfu*in update

i wonder how much harder the z32 is to work on than a z31? it's a pain to work on but it's not THAT hard.. just takes time and patience.. or in my case.. time and a lot of breath spent on obscenities...

Yeah...

Work faster..

Just kidding... I remember having to change mine about a 3 years ago in my first Z. I had driven cross country from Seattle Washington(Home) to Washington DC( Folks Home) when I started having coolant problem somewhere about in Ohio. She held together until I got a half a mile from my folks house when she started spewing coolant as if shed been bleed to death. I spent my entire vacation in the cold ass garage(because I was on X-max vacation) having to replace all the hoses, both head gaskets, pvc valves, and that f**king knock sensor cuz my dumb ass broke that tiny little black one wire line that goes all the way "under" the lower intake .
And yes... That happened AFTER I had finished changing the hoses and the head gaskets and AFTER I had her put back together the first time.

I cried like a little b!tch almost the whole time.

It gets easier the second time you do it thou...

Just thought I'd share that..

You have fun though OK...

hah well replying about the Z31, my friend had one and it didnt seem taht bad looking compared to the z32 but still a bitch.

Now back to you havok... thats a funny story, but it didnt look TOO hard to change the hoses i saw.. i saw to possible spots it coulb be leaking . I took the battery out to get more room and then look next to it and i saw the line with the freon valve or whatever this is on it and that had coolant all over it.. next i saw one more up top, not sure what with coolant all over where one goes into the other.. didnt feel too much tearing though.. Oh well ill find out soon i hope cause i can't drive my Z now :-( damn cars im gonna flip out.. its not worth selling cause i put so much into it.. i hope i can save up soon for a good beater and just garage this (when it gets built) and work on it day an night every chance i get...taking out the engine replace just about everything!...hopefully it will be a brand new z in 243597234572345 years from now.... but anyway I think if thats the case i will work on a custom singl turbo kit for it just like some convertibles ive seen and NA's...just make it better than TT's so i dont have to hear their shit
