strange noise from shocks?

driving home today after work i noticed that there was this weird noise coming from somewhere up front when i would go over bumps of speed bumps. i was wondering how to figure out where this noise is coming from. its the first time i heard this noise and was wondering if it has to do with the shocks. any help??

Maybe from a broken stablizer bar bracket. Take off the plastic engine protector under the front of the car and look for a bar that goes from one side of the car to the other.,

are they aftermarketing shocks or stock...because I have aftermarket shocks and they make somewhat of a "pst" sound...like a hiss when I go over bumps...it's just the shocks working..nothing to be worried about...but I can't really tell about your situations..i'd have to hear it

I have the same noise too, the noise usually happens for me when the car is coming down from hitting the bump/hump....love to know what you see?
