anyone selling gsx/tsi??
hey everyone... been looking to buy a 1995-99 eclipse GSX or a 95+ talon TSi.. super hard to find, i live in pennsylvania outside of Philly, if anyone is selling let me know id be interested.. thanx, chris

check dsmtrader.com and dsmtuners.com. You will prob have better luck there. You can also try ebay.

Hey, you need to look for a 90-94 eclipse, the 95-99 have serious crank issues, so you would need to do a swap on a 95-99 to make it run good anyway!
91 gsx 12.22 1/4 mile looking for 10's in 1 month!

nothing beats the 2Gs rugged good looks. but crank walk is an issue, just know what u r getting yourself into.

Definately read up on the crank walk, it isnt that big of an issue. How much are you looking to spend? I just sold mine to someone in my town and now they are looking to sell it again...

yea i have done alot of reading on the crank walk issues and for the most part i hear that it is a pretty rare thing and alot more rare then people make it.. im looking to spend somewhere around 7000 beacuse thats what i hope to get for my car.. thanx 4 the comments

with 7k you should be able to find atleast a gst. Just make sure you take your time to find the right deal.

You can test if your crank is gonna walk ya know. Just use a feeler gauge to find out how much end play there is. If it's getting out of spec then you know your gonna have a prob and start saving for a 1g block or some other fix. But again, I think it's a lot more rare than it seems.
I've actually always wondered, cant you just buy a new crank? Wouldn't that solve the problem? Or will it just happen again sometime?

When I get a new motor in my car it will be for sale. Not sure how soon I will get off my ass and install the new motor though. I'm de-modding the car to something around 16g status. I'm probably about 7-8 hours away.
