s14or s13 with t-top?
Has anybody seen this done i searched google it had a lot of z32 but no 240 s. If you see it pls post the link, and also what do you think of doing it yourself? With proper tools i think it could be done pretty nicely.

uhhh well anything can be done nicely with proper tools....and why do you want it? 300zx came with ts thats y they came up when u searched. i dunno dude good luck with it but i think it will look like shit!!!!

personaly i think t tops whould be hot, or a targa, one like the supra's, yeah that would look awesome, and the ridgedity (spelled wrong?) can be fixed easy with a a cage or even just a brace.

I did not really mean t tops but the top that you just take off, kind of like supra. I really like it on all the cars and just though it would look good on a 240.

i used to have apicture of an S13 with t-tops, it looked pretty cool

The Rigidity Of The Car Would Still Suffer Even With A Cage Unless The Cage Connected All Points Of The Car.... In The 240sx The Strength Of The Shell Is The Firewall And And The Roof Crossbeams. If You Had A Full Front To Back Chassis You Would Be Able To Retain/gain Rigidty For The Targa Top.

I think itwould look pretty cool with a T-Top. Be something different as well as stand out.

add some subframe connectors from the front crossmember to the rear diffferential area... anytime you HAD to take out a subframe or cross member you would have to cut it off and re-weild it, but I hear bolt-on types are not as good... so if your going to do it, do it right...
also some STB's, bigger sway bars, and that awesome lil floor bar(which I hear makes a nice difference) would help out a lot if the idea of a full cage is not your cup of tea... and it doesn't sound like it is if you want a targa roof.
