1990 bluebird LX REAR SPEAKER ISSUES please help!
hey, i dont know if the USA and UK bluebirds are the same, but i am stumped by this ( i dont have a repair manual).
first point: my LX is a hatchback i want to replace the rear speakers which are mounted in the plastic surrounding the parcel shelf. i can undo the screws mounting them, however the plastic moulding prevents them from being removed, it appears that the entire plastic lining of the cars boot (or trunk i guess for you guys!) needs to be removed just to get the speakers out. i tried undoing all of the screws i could find and yet the plastic surround would not budge. i was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the speakers, or if anyone might have a repair manual for a 1990 bluebird hatchback that they may be able to scan the appropriate page and email to me... [email protected] i would really appreciate the help as one of the rear speakers has blown and its very annoying thanks dan |

Re: 1990 bluebird LX REAR SPEAKER ISSUES please help!
I did an audio in my 94 Bluebird and i realised that audio in a bluebird is the biggest pain ever, yes you have to remove everything and the wiring system is alien to all things automotive.
Good luck and let us know how it goes. |
