spolier fine scratches
i have a 2001 saturnsc2. on the surface of the rear spoiler, you see very fine scratches or haze running the length of the spoiler. it looks like the fine scratches you would get through a carwash, but this car was NEVER even close to a carwash. it might even be microscopic cracks in the paint/clearcoat. also seen this on other similiar cars. you only see this when the sun shines on the spoiler at a certain angle. waxing/sealing the surface improves the appearance drastically, but as the seal wears off, you see them more easily, but only when the sun's out. it's hard to see under cloudy conditions. is there a problem with the paint saturn uses on the spoiler? what can be done about this? this car has only 15.000 miles on it, & is mostly garaged & always kept clean/sealed with liquid glass....

Re: spolier fine scratches
i don't know much of painting, but you may want to spray another layer of clear coat on there.
