Question I'm looking for an AWD eclipse......WHAT TO DO???

I'm looking for an all wheel drive eclipse for and friend of mine.
I can really makes some money if I find one and deliver it in good condition
but the problem is I really don't know squat about eclipses.

I believe the spiders are AWD, is this true?!?!?

Are there any hard top AWD?!?!?
If so what year?!?!? And are they really hard to find?!?!?

By the way I'm in the USA.

Oh yea, I'm looking for the 1997 generation body style.
Sorry I havent did any reserch.

I'm not sure why you expect people to give you answers about something this simple, because you didn't want to spend a few minutes and search google. I won't do it, maybe you'll get lucky and someone will explain to you that 97-99 is the same bodystyle, and GSX is the only Eclipse AWD, not the spyder.

wait just a minute...

it kinda sounds to me like your freind said he has however much to spend on a eclipse and you plan to find one for a few grand less and screw him out of the difference. thats just what popped to mind when you said "for a friend" and "i can really make some money" i mean yeah maybe a couple hundred finders fee would be nice but damm dude if thats what your doing your some friend....

well I found a 96 AWD Spyder Turbo........Thx for all the moral questions guys I really needed that....
Just to show you I'm not screwing anybody I'll explain.
I fix cars. I find cars and I fix them and usally sell them cheaper than dealerships. My friend is rich and wants me to find a badass eclipse for him, in trade help him or better yet show him how to upgrade and tune an car. I've worked on a older eclispe but never really got into them.

Sorry if my question didnt come out alil more clear but I meant whats the best year to look for. but nvm on that.
THANX for all the negative useless info.

except those who tryed helping me. THX to those guys.

The Spyders did NOT come stock with AWD! Unless you found a one in a million Spyder where someone has made it AWD, then it isn't AWD. Good luck though..

Get a 97-99 GSX, make it fast, sell it to him. There are no spyder AWD's.

I think the awd spyder was the one i found on dsmtrader. I put it in the off-topic thread. If I had known that he was gonna be such an a-hole and not search first, disregard the rules that say SEARCH THEN ASK, and then give the flipper, I probably would have waited until later and let people who deserve a car like that know about it.
