Wink old skool: '73 Cherry & '78 Bluebird completed

Finally finish the Cherry and Bluebird. I got a hard time finding the color for old skool, and quite happy for the end result I have done. The model are from Doyusha, no under chassis detail at all because it's a batteries operate model, so slight modify I did was lower the wheel axle. Body is stock with ST27 chrome decal and Mr.Hobby Metal finish paint.
Cherry color is Tamiya Pearl blue and Tamiya gold, as for the Bluebird, it has Tamiya caddy lime green.
Here's the pict, enjoy.

'73 Cherry:

'78 Bluebird:

Here an extra, I'm doing a Hiace Wagon that you can see that below my signature, the body is ready and I'm pleased to see the interior done up. Although it is not quite up to my standard, but well, since is my first time doing it...I give myself 50 points for passing rate

I particularly like the Bluebird. Nicer looking car than the Cherry i think but soth were built equaly superbly. The interior on that hiace looks really cool too. Almost seems a shame to cover it up with a body.

Both gorgeous old school rides! Love them both. I'd score them both perfect marks for style, and the paint jobs are both incredible!

That Hiace is wicked cool, is that interior scratchbuilt?

Wow.
I don't think I've seen a "Cherry" before, but I like it now! Look at those huge fender flares and meats! Great chome trim detailing.
The Bluebird rocks too...kinda wish they made detailed chassis for the older JDM cars
Really neat subjects!

Cool flat panel in the van, complete with racing action on screen!

Thanks for the comment. My Hiace just completed, tomorrow I shall post some picts up.

willimo... Yes, the rear interior is scratchbuild from Tamiya Pla-plate.
SpoonMan Dos...Yes, the plate...I will be adding plate, but I need to find my magazine on Japanese plate (Every number had it meaning).

bibendumz.... You bought some before, so maybe it's time to build some too. I still haven't seen your Hachi yet, remember?

The Cherry that show on the box and what is given in box are 2 different model. I believe they used to have a Race version before. Inside the box is the one I build, but on box art, the car is not having suck big fenders and front grill is different too. Anyway, I just want to finish it as soon as possible .

Here the 'Pink' Hiace finished picts, enjoy! Bodykit is scratchbuild, Rim is Aoshima 19" Racing Hart (I might change into 19" VIP rim after my shipment arrive). Color, Tamiya Flor. pink + Mr.Hobby Pearl Pink and ST27 Chrome decal.
