454 big block . some tricked heads. dual 4bbl intake. Dual square board high rise intake. I think weiand could really help you out if you have a deep enough pocket. The world famous vette that runs 4.9 second qt miles uses tons of weiand parts.

LMFAO!!!
No seriously, that is kind of a vague question, there are alot of ways to accomplish the 9 sec goal, but you must first ask yourself how much are you willing to spend, and do you want that to be all motor..N/A or what?

Re: Camaro Running low 9s

ok, seeing as no one else is taking this seriously

what year camaro are we dealing with? thats a starting point. do you want it to be a steet car, street/strip car, or total race job? do you have any requirements?? ala, it HAS to be an auto or it HAS to run 10.5in rear tires, things along those lines. if you give me something to work with, i can help ya out.

Re: Camaro Running low 9s

The only way to run a high PSI turbo or supercharger on a LS1 is to do internal change's to block and modify heads to lower compression ratio and will require using higher octane fuel.

Re: Camaro Running low 9s

I think my post was very serious, send it off to LPE, they put a twin turbo 427 SBC into it, modify all the other nessisary components (like breaks, etc).

The fastest LS1 broke the record at 8.53 @ 164 mph. He's running a Procharger on a built to hell engine. Total cost (take a deep breath) $240,000. If you want to go more realistic, my boss had a '79 T/A that ran mid 9's. He had a big block with an 8-71 blower on it, no idea what the cost.
