yeah, in my camaro...because its rear wheel and has a 383...all i gotta do is hit the gas...and i can drift....never tried in a FWD...

Umm you don't need to see smoke thru a whole drift if you pull the e-brake. You only pull the e-brake long enough that you need to. I'd think you'd probably know that drift man; it'd be stupid to turn a whole corner with the e-brake on if you're actually trying to move the car
And I wasn't saying that was what was going on, I was stating that pulling the e-brake is an easy way to drift a FF car. Giving an example of how it's possible to drift.

blurg i've pulled my ebrake so many times...i've almost gotten completely sideways a few times gettin better at it...but now my ebrake barely stops unless u pull it alllll the way up, gotta quit doin that n burnin out in an automatic lol

Yeah, I drift sometimes. I drift both dirt/gravel and pavement. Drifting on dirt is easy. Drifting on pavement takes more skill, but I can do it cuz I've practiced it enough. And NO E-BRAKE is necessary! A CRX is a great car to auto-x or ff drift depending on what you want to do. Sure, it's not exactly a 240sx but so what? Just because everybody in a drift contest uses a 240sx or an AE86 doesn't mean those are the only imports that can drift. My last drift was at 40-50mph turning left across the middle median and oncoming lanes of a highway outside city limits (nobody coming). If I had video I guess it would speak volumes.

if you notice, even the RWD cars use the ebrake to break the tires loose and then use throttle and braking to control the slide.

its harder drifting in an ff I drifted a few times in my dads thunderbird. Once was kinda by accident but I knew something was gonna happen. I stomped it turning into the school parking lot with a bus behind me (I just happened to be on some ice and slush) and I pulled it completely sideways and slidand pulled it back into the right direction. That was the only time I did it when it was icy (it was like a foot of ice and slush, byut the rest was salty and sandy) The rest was just stomping it and braking at the right time around sharp turns. I just wanna try it in a 5 speed now.

That's the reason I started practicing it in the first place. Where I live in western SC, the roads are very twisty and at certain spots which I've familiarized myself I can pull off some awesome stuff from one turn to another. I'll admit it's quite difficult on pavement because going uphill is a bit of a struggle sometimes. It's pretty easy on dirt/gravel though anytime anywhere... but I'm not going to be held responsible for some boy racer trying to drift his civic on a dirt road and ending up in a ditch or plowing into some farmer's field, killing a cow and busting apart their body kit... LoL Anyway, my wife loves the twisty drifts from one to another and I was pretty impressed with myself the last time I connected 4 twisties in a row and she said it was perfect! Oh yeah, I try not to cross the yellow line either

WAY TO GO MAN. I EFT UP ONCE WENT TO FAR AND HIT A STOP SIGN. IT TAKES GOOD CONTROL AND PRACTICE (LOTS). YOU GET LOTS OF THAT IN AN EMPTY PARKING LOT THAT HAS SOME SNOW!!! GOOD TIMES.

well since ure all on the subject, i went to an empty road once in my hatch, and was goin about 50-60 and i turned my sterring wheel all the way left and hit the E brake and did a 360, damn that was crazy, now if I can just hit a 180 and pull out in reverse, lol
