Sounds like something is out of balance. Possible the drive shaft. Or the torque converter could have a problem, especially since you said it was bogging.

Re: 1997 ram 1500 vibration please help

yea thats what i thought to then i took it to the dodge dealer and they looked in the intake and seen that there is oil in there and said that was the prob but then a hometown mechanic said that couldnt be it so i changed plugs and wires and now it vibrates at every speed on or off the gas so goin to try new gaskets what you think?

Well i can tell you that oil would not cause vibration. I'd have the driveshaft checked out. Then if that's ok, take it to a transmission mechanic and have the torque converter checked.

Loose transmission and/or motor mounts will do it too.

I had the same problem with my 98 Ram, it turned out to be the torque converter.

Like I said, torque converter. The tranny or motor mounts could be bad, but that would probably cause a different sort of problem. It also wouldn't cause it to bog.
