Re: Biodiesel

Do a search for "mothers waste oil heater" on google. On the site that it show's how to build a waste oil heater it has links for biodiesel conversions. it's a great site.

Re: Biodiesel

Those greaser sites are for if you want to run your car on grease and have the biodiesel separation done in the trunk of your car. If you just want to run Biodiesel that has already been processed and filtered for you... you should be able to no problem.

Unlike greasers, biodiesel is prefiltered and ready to go... cleaner and lubricates better than diesel... you should be good to go right out of the box, and can mix back and forth.

Also the government is doing a thing right now where they will pay you back half of whatever you spend per year on each gallon of biodiesel you use. So if you spend $400 in biodiesel they will give you $200 back... how about that?????

Re: Biodiesel

termitesgraffix,

Hey, I'm just getting into Biodiesel right now.
Do you have any more info on the Gov't. rebate program?
Right now, producers are getting a tax incentive (cut) of .01/1% per gal. up to .50 for blends, but never heard of consumers getting any rebate.
Getting ready to run a Rabbit and a Caddy. (hopefully!)

Re: Re: Biodiesel

Hardrock,
Yea man, my friend who has the info has just moved to Puerto Rico... and just walked in my door... actually... he is moving to there... I will ask him in a bit for the info...
He says, any place that carries bio diesel has forms for the rebate. Just ask them at the counter...
OK, good luck...
