Ignition problems.

I found some information on other threads here and looked up recalls and found Recall 2000276 for my car. Electrical current through ignition swicth above designed capacity, can start fires, and blow the switch. They will put a relay in the circuit.

I jumped the started and power posts on the starter with the key in the on position and started my car up, and drove it to my dealer, and he is now replacing the switch and putting in a relay under ythe recall.
