Please Help Misfire 2000 Dodge Caravan

I thank you for taking the time to read my post. I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan 2.4 L automatic that seems to misfire or hesitate when ever the thottle is partitaly depresed for normal acceleration. It idles fine and runs fine at consistent speeds. It also accelerates fine at full throttle. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you

I had the same problem, which was easily fixed by changing spark plugs. Have you changed them recently?

Did you replace the plug wires when you changed the plugs ? Also run a bottle of fuel system cleaner like Techron thru a couplke of tanks of gas , might be dirty injectors or something like that .

Thank you for your help. I went ahead and checked the plugs just in case and it turns out some oil got spilled at the last oil change and collected in the #1 spark plug cavity. Over time it seems to have worked its way into the cylinder and fouled the plug. Replacing the plugs solved my problom. Thanks to all

Mark
