Re: switch to k&n intake help

Always thought it was a dealer part, till I found that the auto works has them. But I know the dealer does, the Chevy dealer down the street gave me one. Go figure, something free from a dealer.

You can grommets at your local hardware or home supply store.

the stock intake rubber tube slot for the IAT replacement. The grandprix.net/upgrades site says use a rubber grommet...

yes, i went and got a grommet from home depot and it's fine as long as your intake material isn't thicker than i'd say about 1/8th of an inch. PVC ir ABS plastic is about 1/4 inches thick, give or take. I asked the people there and they were no help. =\

Re: switch to k&n intake help

The PVC drops into a baffle (Part # 12538682). Sp. order only. 4 to 5 days. This is for the 1997 and 1998. Don't know what car we are working with. But found my bill. Kit was $13.36.
Hope this helps

Re: switch to k&n intake help

Your not talking about the "O" ring are you. For your car there is nothing else. Lowes or HD have those, for pennies.
Look at this http://macgp.clubgp.com/howto/pcv/pcv.html
