Car Accident 94 SL2

My brother got into an accident in his 1994 SL2. He was hit on the driver side back door. (door is all smashed in) Now the car won't start. Any idea what's wrong? Fuel pump.

Re: Car Accident 94 SL2

fuel pump is possible, is it a no start or a no crank?

check all fuses, and check the fuel lines under the driver's side.

Fuses seem okay. When the key is turn, it just keeps cranking.

Re: Car Accident 94 SL2

take the spark plugs out, pull the sparkplug wires off the coils. have a second person crank the engine. you should see a spark jump from tower to tower on the coil packs and you should be able to smell raw fuel from the spark plug holes.

do you have a test light/multimeter?
