FINALLY.....getting closer to being done

Here are 3 pics that I got from Donny (A.A.I.) from his work on my turbo parts I sent him 2 months ago. The parts look absolutly 120% better then when I got them from Max-Rev. I appriciate your help and hard work. Don can't wait to see the rest of the parts soon...Thanks!!

Thanks...but today gas prices for premium went up to $2.17/gal. That sucks cause I can't offord to run that with the distances I need to drive with college and and 2 jobs...so if anyone is interested on maybe buying this, let me know and I'll keep you posted on my final decision.

Re: FINALLY.....getting closer to being done

How can you give this up now just because of gas prices?!? *drools* Ya know what's going to happen? You're going to sell it and gas prices are going to drop, just to laugh at you for getting rid of such a beautiful metal beast! If you wanna give it away for christmas i'll be happy to take it lol naw I already have a kit coming but...i'll still take it if its freeeee =)

Thanks for all the compliments!!! There is a long story behind my turbo project, but I'll tell the short one.

I bought my 2000 GS (Fed Spec) back in June of 03'....I just got back from Iraq(I was in the U.S. Marines for 4 yrs) and I had saved up $6,000. I got my car and quickly found A.A.I.'s kit and studied the forums till April of 04' and then bought the A.A.I. kit. Towards the beginning of June 04' and still not turbo I decided to get my money back and I did. I then found John Ritenour's kit in the middle of June 04' from F.I. Autosports. I paid for his kit and started getting parts from him 1 month later and finally got the last piece near the end of August 04'. The pipes needed so much work to make it fit and small pieces were missing and it sucked. John did as much as he could for me to battle the parts to Max-Rev where they came from cause I fucked up and got the first kit instead of John getting them. The parts sat in my room till Aug 29th or so and Donny finally offered to take the pipes and fit them into the test car and powdercoat them to look nice....all for around $500. I took his offer and the pictures are of the progress so far.
I just learned that it wouln't fit in my 2000 cause the fan is too big. I now have to buy 2 Flexolite fans for $50 each, and donny is hooking me up with his 2001 mid-pipe to make this fit in my car. I am paying the shipping on the parts to get back as well. It has taken so long to get this far with no REAL progress and I lost interest. I just want to go fast...so I might buy a 2003 dodge SRT-4 soon and get rid of the Eclipse. Not sure what I'm gunna do but thats my stoy and I'm sticking to it!!
