clutch
I have a question about the clutch on my 84 2m4 ... I can put the car in gear and it will move but if i try to use the pedal it will not let me put the car in gear ... any ideas ???

Check your slave cylinder to see if it's moving all the way out when you press the clutch pedal down. If it's not, check your fluid, it's possible that your slave or master cylinder are going bad. Hopefully this is the case because the clutch is a pain to change out and very expensive to pay labor charges to do it.

I agree.
In addition pedals on the older Fieros can bend, not allowing full clutch disengagement. Check the pedal for cracks in the powder coating to indicate the pedal is flexing.

It turns out the clutch release lever was broken ! I bought one at the wreckers for $30.00 and it works great . Now all i have to do is solve the noise from either a valve or a lifter . Is there any oil additive i can use instead of tearing apart the engine ?
