Yes, they make a kit to rethread these and it is a lot cheaper than replacing the heads. When you buy the kit follow the instructions to the letter and you will have no problems doing this, if you don't want to do job take it somewhere and have a mechanic do it for you. Be careful when you tap the hole not to get shavings in the cylinder. If you have to do several you may want to remove the top end/head and do it with it off the engine. Takes a lot of time but is worth the aggrevation to make sure it is done right. If you don't want to repair the bores then buy another head and replace it. Your Choice!
