Yes I have heard of the remote start for a TV but for a car? WoW thats getting right down to a total luxury especially in 30* weather!
check your super shops or even a company that installs stereo's, alarms etc.

Get an alarm with a VATS module included for GMs with factory security. Its self explanatory. Read all the instructions. Visit the12volt dot com for a diagram.

Re: anyone have a remote start for their Aurora?

I got a remote starter/alarm from ziebart a couple years ago --- I don't know what I'd do without it. The only bad thing -- doesn't automatically turn on the heated seats. Guess I can't be TOO spoiled in the winter.

Re: anyone have a remote start for their Aurora?

I sell them installed starting about $180 then up from there. I even have ones with 2 way remotes so you can see what your car is doing. Oh, yes my units can turn on things like rear defrosts AND heated seats!!!!! www.directed.com take a look!

Re: anyone have a remote start for their Aurora?

I got a Clifford remote starter and alarm with the two way feature on it. It was about $500 installed. But I would never take my car to best buy again. They totally messed up the install. The basic remote start part works but that was about it.

I would contact DEI about your problem then. They had too many people complain about circuit city and DEI actually dropped them. Of course, that's the problem with big chain stores. They sell you on price and not on customer service and usually have a young inexperianced installer to boot.
