the only way to add boost is to change your SC pulley to a smaller one so that it rotates faster at lower RPM. Not sure if they are available for the PA, but I am sure you could get one from the SC manufacturer for some other application, but you have to watch the fuel to air ratio, you could lean out the motor and kill it fast. I am also not sure how the ECM would handle it in terms of timing and fuel curve. The gauge is a joke, install a pod on the pillar and install the vacuum line to any vacuum port on the lower manifold. I would also install a Air Fuel gauge to tell you where your motor ( lean or rich ) etc. especially if your adding boost.

Re: adding boost

i thought maybe if you added something like a manual boost controler on the by pass valve you could achieve bigger boost.. by your explanation, i would assume then that the SC gets out about 7.5 - 8 psi at it's higher RPM...i mean theres no room for more with that specific RPM...thats why you need a smaller pulley and/or diffrent pulley kit

i get it

too bad, i wanted more juice.. i guess this PA has not much more potential considering the tall gearing, and the fact that i added a cone filter, and remove the grill thing close to the TPS...any more ways to make 'em faster?

The only other thing you can do is upgrade the ignition, with an MSD multiple spark Box which will fun you about 150-200 dollars which will give you longer spark duration and better gas mileage as well as crisper throttle response. Then you can switch out your coils to MSD coils for a higher voltage output. It will give you a few more HP, 10-20Hp somewhere in there depending on your motor. Is the bang worth the buck? well if not for more HP, the gas mileage factor is nice.. I ran these units in my bonneville, Mustang 5.0, and my saab, worked great on all of them and the gas mileage definetly increased.
