92 Caprice leans to the right

I was checking out a pretty nice 92 Caprice at a used car lot. The body leans over to the right side though. The fender comes down over the top of the hubcap about 2 inches on the right side, and the fender on the left side is slightly above the top of the hubcap.
Does this mean it was in a wreck ? The car rides nicely, anyway, but the lean is noticeable. What might cause the lean? The salesman acted like he knew nothing.

Thanks

Re: 92 Caprice leans to the right

Run !

Well, springs get tired and should be replaced at 100k. The car could've been hit, driven over a few curbs, or had a fat passenger.

Look for signs of an accident (like paint overspray, poor color match, etc), and look at the car's undercarriage while it's on a lift. Check for damage or obvious repairs. You'll also wanna look at the frame isolators (little rubber donuts between the body and frame). If they're compressed to nothing on one side and ok on the other, RUN from this car.
