Glow Face Gauges... funny spot

http://www.angelfire.com/extreme/DtheWL/notch.html

you might have to copy and paste the link above
can anybody tell me whats the purpose of the notch going into the gauge not the one coming out i installed a kit similar to this (mines more complete, has everything but blinkers and highbeams) everything else is white and glows blue, except that little notch, i would just like to know if there is any reason that its out, maybe for a over heat light?

thanks in advanced

It looks cool - don't worry about it. I have a 2001 SC2 Special Edition Yellow/Black. What do you have?
