Rims

hi guys im new

im new to this modifying model car thing, im 14 years old, and i recently bought a 1:18 hummer h2 from maisto, i wanted to know how to put some bigger rims onto it. Is there any other easier way of putting them on other than the one in the tutorial?

Well Justin there is probably a million ways and counting for each brand, I would say that the Maisto tut. is pretty easy compared to what I've seen on other websites and forums.. Go ahead and try that one and come back to us with any problems

is it possible to just get rims that will fit the maisto cars? or do i have to go through the whole process of drilling, and then cutting up the wheels?

majorly.. spare wheels comes from jada/extreme tuner/import racer/etc. and i doubt that there is any special wheel replacement for maisto only.. other than you took from the model that has bigger rim as std rim.

If you dont want to tear apart the wheels, you could just drill holes in the axels and run the DUB city axels through there, the wheels wont turn but oh well it worked for me.

Some stores are saying late October, some November so they'll probably be out sometime in that period. Keep an eye on ebay, people usually start selling them the moment they hit the stores. You don't neccesarily want to buy but it's a good indication of when they're out.

I was wrong, they came out already...
the bad thing is that it's only available at HIN show for now, but it will hit the store very soon
