My next race!

The other day some kid asked me if I had a car because he heard me talking about it. I told him yes. Right when I said yes he asked if I wanted to race his 90 crx. Does anyone have any specs on this car. Should I be able to win if we both have manual transmissions and are equally experienced. I have a 95 civic dx coupe. Intake and exhaust.

Re: My next race!

Intake, exhaust and no license.. If you keep racing I hope you get caught, as cocky as it sounds. Why take the chance of not gettin your license till 21 over some stupid immature thing?

Re: My next race!

I did some searching and this is what I got.
92HP@6000rpm
89ft/lbs@4500

My car has 107HP and 95 ft/lbs.

I say I have a chance at beating him.

BTW, the crx is not an Si

I'm not lisssseeeeeniiiiiiiing! Im just playing, the truth is, I really dont care. I know it's retarted and stupid to race with no liscence but maybe I am retarded and stupid. But hey, watta you gonna do. Dont post about all the liscence stuff. That just makes everyone go off topic.

Ha yeah maybe by then you will also have more money so your car might be a little faster. Also before you start racing to much I`d get your car checked out if you haven`t already. Running your car at high RPMs wears it down very fast believe me I need to reseal my piston rings I have some smoke coming out of my engine, along with all the other repairs I had to have done to my car.

Re: My next race!

man you are stupid, racing and you dont even have a liscense. I hope to god you dont kill yourself or anyone else, but i honestly feel your going to end up another smear on the highway. If you were older you would understand this, and your prolly gonna read this and think, wtf this guy doesnt know me. But i know what its like to be 15, and i know how stupid i was when i was 15 and how much i thought i knew and could do. In 5 years from now, you will look back and say man i was a dumbass when i was 15, that is if your alive to do it.

I just dont get you, your only 15, if you get caught racing now, you wont get your liscense untill your atleast 21. You dont have very good driving skills no matter what you may believe. And its not like your racing a car that anyone is going to care about your win/loss. Oh noo a 10 year old civic beat a 15 year old civic, BFD.

Its kids like you who ruin street racing for the rest of us.

So you're saying that street racing should be legal for some but not for others? Noone can "ruin" street racing for you because it's already illegal. It's like saying "some of you drug addicts who got caught ruined it for the rest of the addicts."

Anyway, you have a d15b7 right? That engine puts about 70hp to the wheels You'll lose just because the CRX is lighter. I hope you crash your car after you lose and have to ride your little bike for the rest of your life.

Re: My next race!

the CRX weighs 1800lbs...your civic probably weighs in ups of 2400lbs...your civic does have a few mpre ponies running under the hood...however on a short race the CRX has a better chance because its wheel diameter is smaller and allows it to accelerate quickly to 30-40 then it just kinda drags its self to higher speeds...and you....saying yo uare willing to race a 7... FC or FD you will be blow out the water...the 1st generation RX-7's are making more HP than your car and weight a tad less are RWD...and are more evenly balenced... sorry but a CRX HF is even competition... hell an AE-86 will beat your car....dont try the 7...im not being mean im just being honest. race an old datsun 240 and thats a lil slower than what racing a 1st generation RX-7 will be...by the way 89tracerman... is your 7 an 89' 2nd generation and if its a Tubo II you will be looking like you're moving backwards...
