Intense or DHP???

im looking at getting a new pcm, which one should i go w/? I like on the dhp how it skips shifts, i dont know if this is bad or good. Also i dont know if it does it on the gt, increase trans pressure. I read somewhere that if you have a shift kit set on max, like i do, w/ the high pressure, you could mess up you trans pretty bad.

I have quite a few friends who have the DHP. I bought the Intense. I like them both....Intense is cheaper. I heard all the mumbo jumbo about Intense having poor business practices.....but I've gotta tell ya, Scott Cook exchanged e-mails with me, answering questions, for 3 days and I'd never spent a dime with Intense. As a matter of fact, he answered my questions knowing full well that I was buying my PCM used and not from him!! I'd call that good customer service!

Anywho, the Intense also does the skip shift, just not to as high of a speed.

You may want research more about combining a reprogrammed PCM with a shift kit. I've read a few things thast said that the two are not compatible. I haven't tried it though.

Re: Intense or DHP???

Cas,
The more I hear about your car, I think the kids should have helmets!!
I have both a DHP and a shift kit. Seems to work fine. Well that those parts anyhow. Now the rest of the car.....

We go to watch dirt track racing so the kids already have goggles.....I guess they could use their bicycle helmets.

Re: Intense or DHP???

Had it on MAX. Pulled it apart and went med. Much better.
